JT Mellanby's is a cafe bar type pub.
Once inside there is a small single oblong shaped room which runs to the rear,the bar is to the front right,there is a pool table to the front,there is not that much seating,but there is bench seating to the rear,there were two TVs on both showing football score updates.
There are no real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Worthington Cream bitter which was a pretty poor drink,the other keg bitter was John Smiths smooth crap.
There was some very loud background music playing which was crap.
The bar was fairly busy with some very loud locals,that could intimidate some people but it did'nt bother me.
