One of a small chain of bars owned by Cleo Farman, the others being Odd, Odder & The Blue Pig all in central Manchester. This one is by far the best real ale bar in the chain although the others do sell real ale. 6 handpumps serve an ever changing range of guest ales many of them from local breweries, there's also a real cider. As with the other bars, this one has very quirky decor, with interesting features and bits and pieces all around the place. There's plenty of comfortable seating and also some bar stools. There's also an outside verandah where you can sit and watch the world go by whilst being choked by exhaust fumes from the very busy Wilbraham Road. Very friendly and efficient bar staff make this a pleasant place to have a drink and both beers I had were in excellent condition. It's quite rightly listed in the CAMRA GBG2013. Great job guys, I'll definitely be back.
