Steve C left this review about Earl of Derby

The Earl of Derby is a large pub with different seating areas and multiple television screens for watching BT Sport. This was muted and some low back music was playing from the jukebox during a recent Wednesday afternoon visit. The bar supports a standard keg range and two of the four hand pumps were unused which left Wainwright Golden Beer and Sharps Doom Bar as the cask ale option. Live music was advertised for Friday nights. The service was polite, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit here again.

I've been in much worse Irish styled places than this. Its basically what you would expect. Bare floors Guinness trinkets, obligatory boring top o'the morning Irish bloke.

A fake Oirish bar in typical fake Oirish style. Assorted mirrors and adverts and lots of Irish memorabilia. It's exactly what you'd expect. Unusally though there are 3 handpumps on the bar although only Hobgoblin was available on my visit. I just had a half as I was on a crawl, it was OK. I've nothing much else to say except it was a little better than I expected.
