The Navigation is a large imposing standalone Craft Union pub with a high ceilinged open plan L-shaped interior with an L-shaped bar counter that runs up the left-hand wall. Seating is found to the right and left of the central entrance and a raised area in the right rear houses a pool table and dartboard. Televisions are found throughout and live football is advertised. Standard and premium keg was available alongside Neck Oil, but the two hand pumps badged with TT Landlord and Sharp’s Doom Bar were both off. It was busy for late afternoon early in the week, and some of the patrons looked as though they’d been in since opening. I struggled to get comfortable and was glad to leave.
