A pub now much different from the old boozer with two or three separate rooms that I remember from the late 1970's and early 80's ,now opened out into one large space , still a pub but nowadays more aimed at family's and passing ramblers and bike riders using the canal towpath which the pub backs onto.Four beers on, a couple from the Caledonion Brewery , and other usual suspects. OK for a pint but I wouldn't make a point of returning.
