Modernised pub now owned by Red Mist, the pub had a reputation as a rough and ready dive in the past but now It's gone too far the other way ,totally bereft of any character or charm with staff seemingly uniformed robots, it was amusing to see that although the pub has upgraded itself the cleintele remain basically the same as before, certainly more rough and ready than swish. Two cask beers available Red Mist Ale and Tilford Gold, awful, as I was with company we stayed for a second so I had to default to a guiness from a standard keg line up. Do not intend a revisit.
