Opening times on the door suggested that this roadside Fuller's pub should have been open on our Sunday afternoon visit. None of the telephone numbers we could find online worked and there was no information available on their website of Facebook page to suggest they had closed. However, we did notice that somebody else had tried to visit earlier the same week and also found it closed. It hadn't long re-opened, but clearly the latest incumbent has also given up.

Roadside Fullers outlet. A nice clean and tidy country pub feel, with a modern edge. Multi area’d, with pub carpet. Look out for the long drop well in a corner of the pub – it’s disguised a little by seaside trimmings but is well-worth a look as it is illuminated all the way down (and it’s a hell of a depth). Also noted a lovely garden with grass and patio areas providing rather impressive views. Live music, a sizeable function room and Caribbean food advertised. Three ales on from the Fullers range; Summer Ale (good nick), HSB and Pride. Desmond reported a below-par lemonade. Served up by a Vincent Kompany lookalike. Overall, a pretty good effort and I’d be happy to drop by again.
