A very pleasant oak beamed traditional country pub , a mix of wooden bench , table and chair with a good sprinkling of leather clad armchairs, sat in one of these next to a warm fire on a chilly evening it was hard to get back up. The decent sized bar top hosted four handpumps and some ordinary keg offerings, cask beers were Dark Star Hophead, Otter Bitter, Palmers Tally Ho and Dartmoor Legend. Despite what is for me a slightly pedestrian beer line up (some people are hard to please) the pub itself is worth a 8/10 from me, I enjoyed my visit.

This is a great Pub and Restaurant. It's run by an excellent couple who are extremely friendly. They employ lovely staff and nothing is too much for any of them. The food is the best for miles around. It’s a great pub ane great restaurant and whenever we pop out for a good meal locally, The Crickets in Longparish would always be our first choice. We LOVE it!!
