Situated just outside of the village of Much Marcle on the main A449, this pub is owned by Weston's. It has a spacious feel to the interior. But this didn't do much for the atmosphere, which was quite muted.

Service was efficient and 3 real ales were available. The 2 regulars are Butty Bach & Doom Bar. They also had Oliver's Island as a guest. Strangely, I could not see any real cider. There are plenty of keg and bottled Weston's ciders, but nothing on draught.
