Fantastic location on the river Wye with a large beer garden making the most of the views. Three Tuns Best on when I called - the other badge was turned round but I'd say normally 2 ales on. The menu looked decent. Pool table and dartboard. All in all a decent pub, worth a visit.

I know the picture isnt much help - it was dark!
A large pub and eatery situated next to the river Wye - i cant say what the view or the exterior really looked like due to it being, yes, dark!
We ended up stopping here a little by accident, we intended to push on further home, but a few bookshops were open late in Hay, so there you are.
The interior has two rooms, which split when you go through the central entrance (which you can see on the picture!). Both are served from a central bar area. To the left there is a lounge and dining area, to the right there is a bar area, with pool table, a little quirky in layout. Decor was dark blue in the dining area, a whitey/cream colour elswhere, i think. A few nice old photos broke up the walls. Sevice was fine and the clientele mixed.
We ate here and the food was fine, my steak was decent, so i wouldnt fault the food.
The Beer; well tap stuff mainly, with a decent drop of Three Tuns XXX, which was nice after the cloudy stuff i had had earlier.
This is a decent enough place, another real ale wouldn't go amiss, but i would visit again, though not likely for just a drink as there wasnt enough variety, but the food was decent and i would like to see the view!
