In the sticks, this is a two-roomed McMullen's pub with traditional bar via a door to left (over two levels) and a dining area to the right (with an A4 piece of paper stuck in door stating that dogs are not allowed in this room). The bar area is traditionally pubby with black-painted beams, carpet, laminate bar apron, small brick fireplace and mix of seating (no high tables here, albeit one bar stool). Three Mac beers - AK, Country and "McMullens Cask Ale" - the AK a decent pint. A few framed McMullens paraphernalia dotted around and although it's cutesy, it was deathly quiet on my Saturday night visit, so one hopes this isn't a regular occurrence.
