A G.K Hungry Horse brand pub.Easy access to the bar area from the large car park for a wheel chair.However you may have problems gaining access to the disabled toilet due to unwise positioning of a TV, chairs, tables and gaming machines. Otherwise it is not a bad place following its last recent refurb. A separate bar area contains a pool table , darts board,wide screen TV and is well used by the locals.Big match days can be crowded. Real ale is normally limited to G.K IPA, Abbot or Speckled Hen. Plenty of Keg lager and cider. The restaurant is popular with families especially after school hours.I have found the staff pleasant and the food improved since the present manager arrived.
