Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Doctors Tonic

One of the original Garden City pubs, located just off the shopping centre, and a fine example of slightly austere inter-war symmetrical architecture. The leafy front patio leads to the left-hand entrance (its match seemingly not now in regular use) and into a full-width bar with two pool tables at one end and a separate dining room at the other. Thoroughly modernised throughout, although the seating area around one of the bay windows with a feature fireplace and several reproduction drinks posters retains a modicum of character. As a Greene King house, I found the regular IPA, a seasonal Barmy Army version (£1.85, half, less 10% Camra discount) and Abbot on three of the four handpumps.

A GK-by-numbers establishment in the centre of WGC. Car park and patio area - well-populated on my weeknight visit - with a rectangular room inside with long, entrance-facing bar. GK IPA, Sharp's Doom Bar, a Chris Kamara-themed one-off ("Un-Beer-Lievable!") and a fourth pump unclipped. Two pool tables in an area far right of the bar. The Kammy one-off had a whiff of vinegar and was in poor shape, so I ducked and ran.

Refurbed but very much a corporate GK feel to this place,with Abbott and Rockin' Rudolph on handpump.Usual GK food menu,rather uninspiring and clinical place.
