Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Pitcher & Piano
Housed in quite a grand old building, meaning that the layout offers a bit of interest (completely unmatched by the rest of the 'offer', however...). Several seating areas at the main level that you enter up the front steps, and a larger seating area can be found downstairs (although usually roped off except during the busier evenings). Extended with a large conservatory at the back, supplemented by a rather pokey rear patio (mostly for the smokers, I guess, and not helped currently by being surrounded by builder's hoardings) and a much larger front patio that is only used in the better weather. However, decor-wise, it has all the character and charm you would expect from this particular chain. Still no real ale, unfortunately, so my voucher for a free Blue Moon was deployed (without the orange slice, as expected...).

Strongers . left this review about Pitcher and Piano
There are some steps up to the entrance of the Pitcher and Piano and to the right is some seating that is covered by two jumbrellas. I was one of only three customers in here on the recent Wednesday afternoon that I visited so there was no atmosphere, not that there usually is at anytime in a Pitcher and Piano pub. Maybe it gets busier between the hours of 17:00 and 20:00 during the week when cocktails and selected bottles are half price. The bar is stocked with premium draught products and the lone hand pump was unused. The lower ground bar and garden out the back was closed off, which was understandable as the large main bar was ample enough space for the three of us. There was some very low music playing in the background and I didn’t spot any TVs which I think is the norm for this chain. Food is served and the starters come in at £4.50 and the mains are available for around £9.50.
There’s not much here to draw me back so when next in the area I will drink in one of the more traditional pubs that Tunbridge Wells has aplenty.
