As I approached Lashings I was sure that I had previously seen the distinctive logo on the hanging sign outside and the posters in the windows. Whilst I was tucking into a half of one of the limited draught products on offer I remembered that I used to know a bloke who helped organise events for Lashings Cricket Club. I remember that they had ex professionals that would play for them and they were (probably still are) a celebrity cricket team. There were no famous faces during my recent midweek evening visit as I was the only customer. Maybe it gets busier later at night as I was led to believe that the doors close at 6am everyday, ouch!
The interior consists of a dining type area to the right and a bar to the left where a plasma screen can be found that was showing muted Sky Sports News. There was some generic music playing in the background and I noticed a sign advertising all mains for £6.

I prefer a proper boozer so I do not plan to revisit anytime soon.
