Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Priory Hotel
Located directly across the road from the station, this pub has long been known as a music venue and accommodation has always been offered. Substantial gantried bar counter with curved ends. Most seating is in booths with full-height screens, with traditional furniture and restrained decoration. Sadly, it will be closing as soon as the beer runs out so I thought I better call in for old-time's sake. This had already happened with the cask ale usually served from one of pair of handpumps, and many of the keg taps had upturned drinking vessels on top, but I managed to get a Sharp's Atlantic (£5.40).

Another very quick stop while waiting for the train and an opportunity to grab some take beers.
I didn't bother with the real ale as no one was drinking it (most punters drinking lager) so I had a double Vodka and lemonade.
Friendly landlord, old style decor and several St George’s Cross flag’s hanging up.
Handy for the station but there are much better options just a 5 minute walk away.
