Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about New Chimneys
If you call this an 'estate pub' (which it undoubtedly is), it does the place a disservice since it is rather better than that description might suggest. The bits of exposed timberwork in the slightly split-level arrangement of various seating / dining areas might date all the way back to the 1980s, but its well enough done not to jar. It also has a dartboard and a reasonable beer garden and a better-than-expected choice of real ales from the two banks of three handpumps. As well as the Doom Bar and Landlord, I found the local(ish) Musket's Ball Puller (£4.00) and a reversed clip for Genesis from Goody Ales.
