Fat Sam’s is a long and thin L-shaped bar with some seating around the entrance and up the left-hand wall opposite the long L-shaped serving counter up the right. There’s more seating as well as a pool table and dartboard at the end of the bar. Standard and premium keg products alongside Neck Oil were available from the friendly barman. Sky Sports on the televisions was muted and there was some upbeat background music from the 1970s playing, to be honest this could be mistaken for a Craft Union pub. The lack of interesting draught means that I’ll not be returning.
