Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Cherry Tree
Attractive pub with a thatched roof, originally set in the village of Little Bowden but now swallowed up as a suburb of Market Harborough. The interior comprises several small rooms, all very traditional in appearance. As an Everards house, we found the usual Tiger, Sunchaser and Old Original on handpump, along with the 'limited edition' Long Beach (£4.90).

An old thatched Everards pub with every bit the look and feel of a traditional country pub. As Will mentions below the ambiance was slightly marred by the unnecessary, music though at least the volume wasn't over the top. There are two banks of four handpumps in separate rooms but the beers were duplicated, these were , all from Everards, Tiger, Sunchaser, Old Original and my choice Long Beach which was fine without being outstanding.
It's a pleasant pub, certainly the best looking of the day, in a nice position next to the church but not a pub I'd make repeated visits to.

Nice traditional thatched cottage with low (padded) beams. Slightly spoilt by modern pop music, modern grey-green paint and wallpaper in an exposed brickwork pattern. Four Everard's beers on. My pint of Tiger was ok without being brilliant (NBSS 2.5, £4.80). A lamp in the window by my table had been made by drilling a hole for the flex through a stack of old Dick Francis novels, then topping this with a lampshade made of plastic leather. Well, at least it wasn't Jane Austen.
