A ground floor bar with pool tables in the rear space, seating and standing in the front section bisected by a staircase. This leads to the toilets and two sitting rooms with nice Victorian fireplaces, there’s a coffin in one room. Around the top of the stairs are pictures of steam punk customers and there’s a steam punk fish on the wall downstairs. Two pulls lurk behind perspex with the usual suspects on two horseshoes, One beer was from Leatherbritches the other from another small brewery. Earlier that day a friend had visited and warned us of a vinegar beer - it was still on when we arrived, the other cask beer was absolutely fine.

Best bar on Brauny gate (though to be honest it hasn't got alot of competition).
