The Royal Oak is a really nice looking pub that is in the middle of the village.
Once inside there were two small rooms at the front of the pub both of these were carpeted and had comfortable bench seating with small stools, there was a beamed ceiling and the pub was decorated with horse brasses, there was also a seperate room to the rear which was larger than the two front rooms.
There were five real ales on the bar i had a drink of Maypole Major Oak and this was a very nice drink the other beers were Skinners Keel Over,Black Sheep bitter,Adnams bitter and GK IPA.
The pub was very busy both inside and out the front with a good mix of customers giving the pub a very nice lively atmosphere.
I could have happily stayed here longer.
