A large Sizzling Plate pub. This standalone pub is a bit of mess to be honest. There are several areas to sit and there doesn't seem to be any pattern to the layout. As usual the tables are cluttered with menus and as the pub is family friendly expect kids to be running around during the day. The servery is to the left of the pub and there are 3 handpumps on the bar. A woeful choice of GK IPA, Doom Bore and Wainwright was made better today by all 3 being off. If you like Flaming Grill/Square Plate/Crown Carveries etc you'll like here.
