A stoutly traditional 2-bar village local with just a little bit of naff 90's decor to irritate. The back room is the public bar, with a centrally-placed dartboard, while a covered annex at the back houses a pool table. Outside there are some tables to the side and a grassed area beyond the car park. Ales on were Black Sheep and Theakstons Best and the barmaid creditably took an interest in the beer's condition. Food is mainly pizza as they have invested in an oven. Pleasant enough and the sort of place that every village ought to have but sadly becoming increasingly rare.
