The Pack of Cards is an estate pub that is close to some blocks of flats.
There were two rooms in this pub and i went in the bar which was to the right this was an L shaped room and the pool table was close to the entrance which was awkward for people playing and people comeing into the room.
There was one real ale on the bar this was Old Speckled Hen and this was a decent drink,the landlord said there would be another beer on later and there were a lot of pump clips on the wall showing what beers had been on in the past.
There were a few picnic tables at the front but there was a notice on the door when going outside the pub saying "By the order of York city council no drinking allowed outside at any time".
The pub was very busy and i was quite happy having a drink in here.
