In an hideous modern building in the rather narrow New Street it’s exactly as Graham describes, unlike him I was never a fan of the Terrace at the top of Fossgate. It had a bouncer on duty already on a Saturday lunchtime! Yes Brixton, Cruzcampo and Guinness on solos at each end, lagers, ciders and John Smiths Smooth on the two horseshoes in between. They had Tennents and Murphy’s on as well so not entirely slop.

Previously an 'All Bar One', this has now been completely changed into a shiny modern sports bar in a large square room. There is a set of high tables and stools in the middle, with lower tables front and back, and a bar to the side. Unsurprisingly the whole place is lined with big screens. For those confused by the name, the licensees of the previous Terrace (now the Stonebow) brought the name with them. Sadly they didn't bring their beer range, with just a couple of keg Brixtons apart from the usual fake Eurofizz. Somewhere to watch the match in the city centre, otherwise don't bother.
