Delighted this pub was open at 10:50am, as I had 8 miles of moorland grimness to walk.
Old school pub, with decent Black Sheep and friendly staff.

My husband and I couldn't fault this welcoming inn; the hosts and bar staff were very friendly, our room was superb (we had the four-poster bedroom with dressing room/mini lounge)and the food was excellent. The inn was full, and all guests had brought their dogs, which is another reason this is a wonderful place to stay. A big thank you to Karen and Alistair, we'll definately be returning!
