Old Boots left this review about The Hare Inn
A rustic inn with 13th century roots located a short way off the A170 down a narrow lane. Don't be misled by the moors location and charming basic exterior this is largely an expensive restaurant with three set menus priced between £30 and £60. There is a pleasant waiting area with 3 pulls but with only a dodgy Rudgate on, alongside a limited keg choice, modern jazz was playing in the background, there's a flag floor and fair bit of old wood. The counter has a Mouseman top but otherwise it's a little sterile in this part. To the right is a large dining area with traditional tables and chairs set permanently for dining. It's a nice enough place but deep pockets are needed and probably a taste for expensive wines rather than common old beer.
