Old Boots left this review about The Bay Horse Inn
Friendly multi-roomed village pub in an old stone building on the south-western outskirts of the village. One stone built bar counter serving Black Sheep Bitter, Tetleys and mediocre York Guzzler, another handpull wasn't in use that day. Familiar range of kegs, Fosters, Strongbow, John Smiths Smooth and Guinness. The many rooms are slightly different to each other from a public bar like area at the front, a pleasant lounge area with bench seats covered in a mountain of cushions to a fairly plain blue room, and a dining area. Old beams and white walls mean the décor is conservative and traditional, apart from the blue room. The atmosphere is that of a friendly village local. Look out in the lounge for the framed 1930s Guinness adverts of John Ireland drawings showing a Heath Robinson like view of Guinness brewing.
