The Jolly Farmers does not appear to have been open again for long. Service is still outdoors only. There is a small garden area, with an outdoor bar. Just the single cask ale was available. This was Pennine Hair of the Dog.
The staff were nice enough, but the only other customers were just leaving when we arrived.
It was a bit of a disappointment not to be allowed inside. Maybe they are refurbishing the interior. It was also lucky it wasn't raining, as presumably they would have to close. At least it is open, unlike the Moor & Pheasant just up the road.

Old Boots left this review about The Jolly Farmer
A splendid, proper, traditional village pub, its gloomy roughcast exterior shouldn't put you off enjoying its charms. The pubs sits end on to the road so the front door is at the side reached over a small bridge when entering from the road, there is a car park at the back with access to the front door as well. Inside the front door is a large lounge with the bar counter, to the left is a more public bar type room but without a counter. This room houses the pool table, there is also a dart board and there are some machines in an alcove by the counter. The lounge has the traditional round tables, solid chairs and upholstered benches, with tongue and groove walling. The usual pub decorations of pictures and mirrors with a collection of pewter pots hanging from the ceiling beams. Four handpumps with Theakstons Bitter and Mild plus some more exciting guests, pump clips around the walls show the range of previous guests. There are a further two handpumps at the far end of the bar dedicated to cider (Old Rosie) and perry with the usual keg taps between the two banks of pumps. A friendly place the notice board shows its important place in the community.
