Obviously an older pub, with a later Art Deco front on a Victorian carcass and blandish interior, no idea how much is original here, maybe the counter, maybe those odd bits of tongue and groove, unlikely to be the rather nice Victorian fire place but who knows? It’s long and thin with plenty bench seating and a lot of screens on the horse racing, sporting photos decor too. Packed with coffin dodgers and those a bit younger. Probably sells any national keg that takes your fancy; there were quite a lot of taps.
