A Marstons two bar pub, with separate restaurant at the back. Serves a range of Marstons beers on three pulls but of average quality. The clip collection has a few other brewers, Durham, Greene King & Black Sheep mostly, these may or may not be previous beers as a 1970s Youngs and a similarly old Courage one were among them. It's decorated with lots of stuff too numerous to mention, china mugs & bottles and steins, miniature whiskys, brewery mirrors just to hint at the collectio, there's a proper dart board as well. A pretty decent village pub but given its main road location serving that market reasonably well too. It has lowish wooden ceilings probably to mimic an old sailing ship.

A lovely local pub that serves great beer at a reasonable price and good food. The owners are really friendly and welcoming. The only choice in the village and 100 times better than The Wellington Heifer in Ainderby Steeple.
