One of the first pubs I visited in Harrogate many years ago, it has been shut for years and spent a long time boarded up. My first taste of Sean Franklyn’s beers was in this pub and that later became Roosters. At the time it was a Tetley’s house but the Franklyn’s was soon taken out as the brewery didn’t like the way the Franklyn’s out sold their own offering.
