The Fox & Quill is a fairly large pub that looks like it was converted from other use.
Once inside there is a very long oblong shaped room which runs to the rear,the room is carpeted and the seating bench seating and normal tables and chairs,the bar is to the rear of the room which is a good walk,the room kinks to the right where there is another entrance off another street.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Doom Bar which was a decent enough drink.
Food was being served and the TVs were showing the Swansea v Liverpool game.
I found nothing special about this pub.

Strongers . left this review about Goose

The Goose was the last pub visited on a stag weekend pub crawl of Northampton so I cannot remember much about it other than it was very busy with early twenty-something drinkers on Saturday night. The Guinness was good whilst not breaking the bank and I can recall the music being fairly loud. There wasn’t a hint of trouble and some of our group pulled so all in all a good round off to an interesting day.

This still wouldn’t be a place that I would rush back to as I did feel a little old, but my age isn’t the pubs fault!
