Well worth a visit, the food was excellent and well kept ales. Six real ales on my visit Ayr Leezie Dundie, Wolf Brewery Wolf Ale, Allendale Golden Plover, Scottish Borders Foxy Blonde, Derwent Parsons Pledge and North Yorkshire Best. Staff very friendly and helpful, will defo return.

This is one of the better pubs for views in Hexhamshire. Good quality food, The service lets the place down but they have excellent real ales.[5 on tap,] at my last visit 2/9/09
