A Greene King pub with four constantly changing cask beers on, sometimes GK core beers or seasonal, sometimes Landlord. At the time of my visit there were four local beers, two from Chantry, one each from Stancill and Milestone. My two halves came to £4.70 and would have each been NBSS 3.5 except that one of them was a bit on the cold side. This is a friendly locals pub, standing side on to the road and with a slight change of height between the main bar rooms to the right, and a snug up some steps on the way to the dining room in a glazed extension.
