I was surprised how big the front lounge was in this pub, with button backed leather seating around the walls with a Lincrusta frieze between the top of the seating and dado rail. There was also a dark timber patterned ornate ceiling along with a large mirrored over mantle fireplace, which was all in fabulous condition. Two handpumps with Bradfield Farmers Blonde and TT Boltmaker. The Farmers Blonde was very good.

Massive pub on one of Hull's main road junctions. It's now one very large room with leather seating around the walls on the left hand side along with some dining tables & chairs. There's a pool table to the right. Four handpumps on the bar selling Bateman's beers plus one from Copper Dragon. I had a pint of Bateman's XB which was in good condition. This is definitely a blue collar pub and some of the clientele were a bit rough and ready, but all were welcoming. I'd consider coming back here for one again.
