Post-war local with a few original features disguised by a mundane modern facelift. The main room has a couple of semi-circular seating bays facing a traditional bar, with a darts area off to one end. To the rear is a games room with a couple of pool tables. A few tables are on the pavement at the front and a terrace area is hinted at to the rear, although not visited. Beers from Mansfield with only keg available, despite a couple of signs to the contrary. Serves its purpose for the locals but not one for me.

This is a 50s type pub on a street just off holderness road it was very busy on my visit it had Mansfield beers on the bar but none were real ales.
