This pub was converted from an old building and opened around 1979 it was called Donovans when it first opened.
Once inside here the bar was very long and it was to the left as you went in here the room was also very long and there were pool tables at the far end.
I have never known this pub to have any real ale on the bar probably because it has always catered for the younger drinker.
Over the year this pub has had its ups and downs and at the moment the pub is closed and looking in a sorry state.
