The Green Dragon is situated just off Hucknalls shopping area.
When i first went in this pub it was a Shipstones tied house with decent Shipstones bitter and mild on the bar.
The Pub People company have took this pub on and spent a lot of money on it.
Once inside there is one large oblong shaped room with the bar facing,there is a large raised area to the front,which was carpeted and had a mix of comfy bench seating,tall bench seating and tall stools and bucket type chairs.
On the lower area there was a pool table and darts board to the left,there were a few TVs showing normal daytime programmes,the backgrond music was decent enough.
There were five real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Nottingham Centurian ND which was a very nice drink,the other beers were Pedigree,Ringwood Fortyniner,Jennings Cumberland and Doom Bar.
The pub does decent priced food throughout the day.
There was a decent amount of locals in on my Late Thursday afternoon visit.
This is a very comfortable pub that could suilt most peoples tastes,i was quite happy having a drink in this pub.
