The Red Lion was a decent looking pub with a bere brick look to it.
Once inside this was a multi roomed pub with a smart lounge and basic bar,this was an Home Ales tied house and Home mild and bitter were on the bar and both were real ales.
I found this pub to be quite comfortable and the beer was usually a decent pint.
This pub managed to stay open untill around 2006 when it closed down and was tinned up,it as now been demolished and weeds are growing where this decent pub used to stand.
