Great location but useless beer, this is a young drinkers hangout with a large terrace overlooking the Nottingham Canal. The raised bar area has flatscreens, fruit machines, very loud mindless muzak and a whole array of shiny fonts knocking out national keg brands.
The small back entrance has a gents immediately to the left which can be used descretely if you are caught short when in the area. That's worth a point.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Waterfront
Modern Marstons pub with a large patio area in a good position beside the canal. There are also small balconies at first and second floor level overlooking the water. With the exception of a pool table, there is little to note inside the multi-level bar apart from the plethora of promotional material about cheap shot offers, etc. Completely deserted on a weekday evening, with the bored barman watching a soap on one of the large TV screens. No real ale, and a generally limited selection of other drinks so it was a quick pint of Marstons Smooth (£2.10) and I was off.
