Brownes was a trendy bar in the hockley area of central Nottingham.
Once inside there was a large room with the bar to the right i have only been in this bar a couple of times and not really enjoyed either visit.
I first went in here on 31 October 1987 and there were no real ales on here i had a drink of keg Mansfield bitter which was drinkable but nothing special.
I think this pub is now closed down.
