Tris C left this review about Caffe Ethos
Passed last Saturday at 9.00 pm and there was just one solitary drinker at the bar. Seemingly a pump of sorts at the bar, the interior is restrained and vaguely modern with black leatherette seats. We didn't go in as we were pressed for time and the place looked interminably dull.
Not sure what the 'Ethos' is here; perhaps it's to deter customers?

Was Marlborough House, now called 'Caffe Ethos'. Says 'open all day' but a resolute 'sorry we're closed' sign out front on my Friday evening fly-by. Claims to stock Rebellion but the local CAMRA branch say it's cans of the stuff in a fridge.

Large corner Victorian building which was originally a Railway Hotel.
Now closed down and turned into residential.
