OK pub if you stumble across it or happen to be camping down the road, but you wouldn't make a special trip to get here. When I stayed locally I visited here once then invariably drove in to Minehead for an ale. Pretentious and below average.

The White Horse is full of the hunting, shooting, fishing types that frequent Exmoor; best not to mention that you are anti-bloodsports.
It has everything going for it, character, setting, landscape etc, but this pub could be a lot better than it is considering, so don't make a special journey. The beer was ok but nothing special; I can't even remember what I drank. Busy during summer weekends.
