A friendly and busy local - at least, it was busy on the Friday afternoon when I was there - with entry from the car park side and through the flat roofed extension. There are still separate rooms, but all the doorways have been widened into square arches to make it more like a continuous space. No real ale, the options for people who don't drink lager were Guinness or a choice of Robinsons beers on keg: Smooth, which is based on Unicorn, I guess, and Dark; the latter is a 3.5% mild, though the last cask mild that Robinsons did wasn't particularly dark. According to the price list the mild was £3.20/pint whereas the smooth bitter was 3.8% and £2.80/pint, so on the basis of bangs per buck I went for the latter, though I'm pretty sure the mild would have been more to my taste.
