The Cheswold is a massive Brewer’s Fayre pub across the way from a Premier Inn to the north of Lakeside. Obviously the pub is mostly geared towards dining, but there is an L-shaped bar area in the left rear where a pool table also resides. Standard and premium keg were available alongside Doom Bar on the lone hand pump from the polite staff.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Brewers Fayre The Cheswold
Brewers Fayre adjoining the Premier Inn on the north side of the lake but not in direct sight of the water. Apart from noting that there is greater separation between the bar and the extensive dining areas than is often the case with this chain, nothing else of note. On the plus side, it does offer real ale, albeit just Doom Bar from the pair of handpumps.
