Requested be closed with reason - Other: Pub closed as of 10/7/15 according to SHB Camra yahoo group,drove past myself 30/7/15 and was closed but seversl men in suits with clipboards outside checking it out.

Curious but friendly little pub on edge of village, on road junction. Large fairly open bar at front, with quieter bar at side tending more towards food. Good garden area, with large woodland adventure area for kids. Food seems popular but not available all sessions. Beers include a local guest or two and were well kept, even to the point of having a new barrel tapped and ready to take over, which is a rarity nowadays. At time of visit, had an outdoor pool table! Worth checking out.
