Walked past, now spruced up and looking very gastro, run by Rarebreed Dining and offering "British steak and seafood dishes" with "Premium dining and artisan cocktails". I assume you can just get a draught beer though I'd look out of place.

A basic boozer on the outskirts of town and as such is very much a locals boozer. L shaped single room, the floor is carpeted with standard seating arrangements throughout the pub. Despite the exterior proclamation of being a freehouse ,the promise is not carried through with the available beers, a duo of young's, Bitter and Special, a second duo of Fullers Pride and Southern Star plus a solo St Austell Tribute didn't inspire,that aside its a decent enough place to stop off should you have a half hour or so to kill.

Excellent pub on edge of town. Has a couple of rooms at the front, a nice conservatory-style room at the back, a pool table and a small garden, as well as some nice well-kept beers and a good welcome. Generally feels like a proper pub. Recommended.
