Had a good roast dinner here. The bar has 3 areas and just the usual Fullers beers. You can sit outside viewing the river but not an option on a cold wet day.

Still damned expensive but seems a bit more of a relaxed drinking experience now. Usually three Fullers plus a guest or two. No problems with our pints of Dark Star Hophead (NBSS 3.5).

Fullers pub that takes advantage of a lovely interior and riverside view. Beer quality is variable and damned expensive. The new refit means that the place now has a bit of atmosphere it was badly lacking during quiet hours previously and the dark rambling interior now has a bit of warmth. Best taken either at height of midsummer or depths of a winter evening. This place doesn’t quite get it right which is a shame as this should be the best pub in town with that view. Rated 5

Olde worlde hotel with a slight modern twist. Lots of woodwork and a couple of open fires; a mixture of furniture including some nice leather armchairs. Outside there is a nice riverside patio. Four draught ales from Fullers, and those sampled were in excellent condition. Perhaps a little pricey but very civilised.
