The Onslow is a comfortable pub in the middle of the High Street, with a large dining room (empty on our visit) and a couple of rooms either side of the bar for drinkers. It was gratifying to find a reasonable crowd present early on a Friday afternoon. The Surrey Hills Shere Drop was on good form, so it's a pub worthy of consideration for a pint or two if you're visiting Cranleigh for any reason.

A hugely modernised high street pub, especially the large restaurant area, clearly aimed at a middle class sort of clientele. It seemed a bit labyrinthine, with rooms off to one side and extending down the back, and a former yard at the rear makes a nice tabled outdoor area.
Ales on pump were Shere Drop, Firebird Heritage, TEA and IPA.
